As a registered charity (Charity No NIC 102818), St Brigid’s Third World Group can reclaim basic rate income tax on donations made by UK taxpayers – provided they sign a Gift Aid declaration. Tax can also be reclaimed by the Group for any of the four years prior to making this Gift Aid declaration and for as long as the donor remains a UK taxpayer.
As a result of the moneys gift aided by donors in the 2017-18 year the Group was able to add £17807 to the funds it provided to the projects.

Higher rate taxpayers may also claim back some tax for themselves under the Gift Aid scheme. A Gift Aid declaration by email is acceptable to HMRC and no signature is required.
If you already contribute to St Brigid’s Third World Group through regular giving – or by donations at one of our events – you might like to make a Gift Aid Declaration by printing and completing the St Brigid’s 3WG Gift Aid Form that you will find on the next page.
You can return the form by placing it in the collections basket at Mass or by sending it to the Parish Office at 40 Derryvolgie Avenue, Belfast BT9 6FP.
