How Can You Help?

The members of the Group welcome help from anyone wishing to support their work. This can be done on a one-off basis or through a continuing commitment. You can do this as an individual or a part of a group. Some of the ways in which you can assist our work in developing countries are:

  • By attending or otherwise supporting any of our Fundraising Events
  • By volunteering to help at an event
  • By becoming a Project Friend who keeps in contact with a project in which they are particularly interested – by email; Skype or even old-fashioned letter-writing
  • By making single donations or by becoming a regular contributor through a Standing Order, if you can
  • By adding to any of your donations by making a Gift Aid Declaration at the time of giving – this increases your donation to the Third World Group by 25% at no extra cost to you
  • By considering leaving a legacy in favour of St Brigid’s Third World Group

And most of all – by joining the Group. New members will be made very welcome and you don’t need to attend every meeting in order to play your part.

The Group meets at 7:30 pm on the first Monday of each month in St Bride’s Hall (except for July and August). Between meetings you can contact the Group by email at:
